Bellator isn’t meant for pay-per-view.
“King” Mohammed Lawal might have just got on Dana White’s good side with that post-fight interview following his unanimous decision loss to Rampage Jackson.
The face of their company loses due to bad judging, you have fighters dropping F bombs left and right, fighters trashing their boss, and the star selling point of the pay-per-view was removed when Eddie Alvarez was injured.
And to beat it all, the company’s Middleweight champion (Alexander Shlemenko) loses to Tito Ortiz in the first round. It is like they killed the prestige of the Middleweight title. I have no idea who the Lightweight champion is, or will be. Can’t produce stars due to bad judging… while the fights weren’t too bad, everything else seemed terrible.
Rule one: Keep your fighters in line. Trust me, the UFC is far from perfect, but they will never put on an event that seemed as unprofessional as this one. I’m truly let down with that event.
